EIU School of Computing and Information Technology (CIT)
The EIU School of Computing and Information Technology (CIT), a newly established and rapidly growing school, offers students an excellent, experiential learning environment with new technologies, well-designed course work and curriculum, creative projects and undergraduate research, and practical experiences in the laboratories with modern equipments. In the current technological age, the computing and information technology (CIT) becomes the most popular field of study due to its highest employment opportunities across Vietnam and around the world.
Upon entering the Computing and Information Technology programs at EIU, students are strongly recommended to focus on English and complete IELTS training program. Students with a minimum score of IELTS 6.0 are expected to graduate from the CIT programs in 4 years or less through a wide range of courses in general education and specialized subjects. The first 2 years are focused on basic knowledge in critical thinking and problem solving which prepare students for advanced courses. Students, during the last 2 years, study specialized courses for research, capstone projects, and internships to develop further skills for employment at local and regional industries.
Minimum Qualification
Master's degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Computing, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Networks and Data Communications, Computer Applications, Communication Technology, Computer Engineering, and related fields. Previous experience in academics and/or industry will be preferred.
