Work you'll do
Work with and support the partner to develop and grow the Deloitte Vietnam RA
practice in general and Risk Advisory services (FSI) in particular to
achieve required revenue and service delivery targets by leading sales and
contracting activities and over sighting the delivery of agreed Risk services
to meet client expectations.
An important role will involve the talent development of local staff in both
offices (Hanoi and HCMC) in the RA practice to meet on-going business
requirements.
In addition, this role participates in project teams to support development
and effective rollout of projects/programs related to the RA function.
Revenue Performance & Key Performance Indicators Results:
Identify and secure new sales in Risk Advisory Function and then manage
contracts to ensure that the Risk Advisory annual business plan KPI's in terms
of revenue, profit and billable hours, AR, collection, WIP as of below
Key Financial Performance Indicators:
Net Client Service Revenue (NSR) recorded in SAP
Chargeable hours
Utilisation
Lockup (WIP + AR/Revenue)
AR over 60 days/total AR (%)
Recovery rate
Days of collection
Key Managerial Performance Indicators
Facilitator hours for staff level
Monthly/upon request updates of self-portfolio (Revenue, WIP, AR, etc)
Compliance with Performance Management process with coaching time as role
of counsellor and counselee.
Compliance with timesheet
Practice Review results
Compliance with other Firm's policy (eg: Risk and Reputation, Ethics,
e-Learning etc)
Delivery Service Standards
Lead RA team to provide the following services to clients but not limited to:
Lead Data analytics service in supporting Banks and Financial company
(credit risk models (PD/EAD/LGD, fraud risk models, machine learning
models, etc.)
Execute/supervise and conclude the engagement in accordance with existing
DTT methodologies and approaches, or other related standards deemed as
appropriate
Manage the entire engagement to deliver quality work to clients as well as
coaching, guiding and supervising works of subordinates
Work independently in building up network, doing business development,
speaking at seminars/workshops, seeking for new deals and closing deals to
provide other Risk Advisory services listed below but not limited to:
FSI –related Risk advisory services
Public training, seminars, workshop, presentations and articles
Involve, take ownership and responsibility to deliver projects as per Firm's
quality standard and clients' expectations. Take responsibility for the
purpose of engagement risk management and quality control.
Build and nurture positive working relationships with clients with the
intention of exceeding client expectations
Business and Marketing Planning
Actively develop business that support agreed strategies; improve market
share and service levels whilst meeting the expected financial
contribution levels.
Support Partners to lead the building of market intelligence of key
clients/ industry of choice
Conceptualize and develop new or innovative services/solutions that meet
client's needs
Human Resources
Develop and maintain a team of competent staff, capable of delivering
value through teamwork.
Participate in and actively support mentoring/coaching and talent
development within the RA practice for succession. Conduct continuous on
the job training for staff according to project and provide constant
feedback and support
Branding and Relationship Building
Contribute to RA branding eminence through conducting public
talks/external seminars/ client presentations
Identify, cultivate, and develop new market opportunities and sign up new
clients for revenue target achievement.
Requirements
Appropriate degree qualifications in Finance, Banking, Business, Risk
Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics or a related fields.
A minimum 4+ years of experiences with at least 1 year in a managerial
capacity or more than 2 years of direct experience in Banking and Finance.
Solid experience in managing, training and developing RA staff
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Thorough understanding of bank's internal processes and policies; and
regulations and practices in banking sector
Skills and experience in Quantitative analysis and Machine Learning/Data
mining/ Statistics/ Financial mathematics/ Risk management
Relevant professional qualifications such as FRM, CFA qualification is
more preferable.
Familiar with statistics tools such as R, Python, SAS, R-programming, S+,
Matlab and database management tools such as SQL.
Logical thinking, ability to work independently and good analysis, writing
and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel across Vietnam
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Able to research new knowledge and technology
Team-work spirit and professional working behavior
Fluent oral and written English communication
Ability to work effectively with local and regional RA team to complete
multiple projects with changing priorities and meet deadlines; and ability
to work in a local and international team environment.
