1 teen girl killed, 1 injured while trying to cross rail track in south-central Vietnam

Two 18-year-old girls on a motorcycle were struck by a north-south train when they were trying to cross the track in Phu Yen Province, south-central Vietnam on Monday morning, leaving one dead on the spot and the other badly injured. Suddenly, the train collided with a motorcycle which was crossing the railway track, causing T.A.T. Subsequently, the train continued its journey to Tuy Hoa station, also located in Phu Yen, to drop off and pick up passengers. By 12:00 pm the same day, the Phu Yen General Hospital announced that the injured victim sustained severe traumatic brain injury, dilated pupils, crushed foot injuries, with a bad prognosis.
