Citizens, authority take action against adverts in Ho Chi Minh City

Residents of Thoi An Ward in District 12, Ho Chi Minh City have been working with police forces for nearly a month in a joint effort to stop adverts from drowning the streets near their homes. For many years, illegally placed adverts in public have been a source of frustration for residents of Ho Chi Minh City. Given simple directives from the Ministry of Public Security, the Party Committee and the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City launched a movement among the people and police forces of Thoi An Ward.
