Crashes kill 48 in Vietnam over first four days of Tet holiday

Forty-eight people were killed and 61 others injured in 82 crashes across Vietnam during the first four days of the seven-day Tet break (2023 Lunar New Year) starting last Friday, the traffic safety agency reported. Among the traffic violators were 646 drivers under the influence of alcohol, four abusing drugs, and 85 others overspeeding.
