Da Nang welcomes first int’l tourist in 2023 Lunar New Year

A flight from Thailand with over 100 passengers on board arrived in Da Nang City on Sunday, making it the first to bring international visitors to the central Vietnamese city in the 2023 Lunar New Year. Local tourism authorities held a ceremony to welcome the Thai travelers on the first day of the Year of the Cat at the international passenger terminal of the Da Nang International Airport. Flight VZ964 of Vietnamese budget carrier Vietjet from Bangkok, Thailand landed at the Da Nang International Airport on Sunday morning. This includes 444 domestic flights and 344 international flights.
