HÀ NỘI — Multiple officials of Đắk Nông Provincial People’s Court will face disciplinary measures for wrongdoings, according to the conclusion of the 27th meeting of the Central Inspection Committee in Hà Nội on Wednesday. Inspection results show that the Party Committee of the provincial People’s Court violated the principles of democratic centralism and working regulations, lacked responsibility and showed lax leadership in adjudication. The violations have caused serious consequences and negatively impacted the reputation of the court and Party organisations among the public, and affected the province's fight against crime. Ngô Đức Thọ, the chief justice and Party committee’s secretary of the Đắk Nông People’s Court is held accountable for the violations, alongside the 2015-20 tenure Party Committee of the provincial court. They were given a warning and ordered to address their wrongdoings and reported to the Central Inspection Committee.
