HCM CITY — This year’s Youth Month themed "Youth pioneer the digital transformation" was officially kicked off at a ceremony in HCM City last Sunday (February 26). The Youth Month 2023 volunteer programmes, organised by the Hồ Chí Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) of HCM City, will last until the end of March. It set out a number of targets such as having at least 600 outstanding youth union members become Communist Party members, and having about 32,000 young Vietnamese join the Youth Union. It aims to establish 50 new youth union associations at private enterprises, non-governmental organisations, and non-public units. The 3rd Youth Festival 2023 will be held and is expected to attract the participation of about 10,000 youth union members and young people.
