Heatwave of over 37 degrees Celsius baking southern Vietnam

Southern Vietnam is currently undergoing a persistent heatwave that began several days ago, with the central weather agency forecasting temperatures to exceed 37 degrees Celsius in certain areas on Sunday. Certain areas may experience temperatures exceeding 37 degrees Celsius, slightly lower than the 38 degrees Celsius recorded in Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province, located in the southeastern part of the country, on Thursday. In Ho Chi Minh City, the highest temperature on the same day is expected to reach 36 degrees Celsius. The central weather center has cautioned that the current sweltering weather is expected to persist in the region for several days. In contrast, northern Vietnam is anticipated to experience milder temperatures ranging from 16 to 31 degrees Celsius on Sunday.
