Ho Chi Minh City received the prestigious title of ‘Asia’s Leading MICE Tourism Destination’ for the fourth consecutive year at the 2023 World MICE Awards gala ceremony recently held in Berlin, Germany. The recognition underscores the city’s position as a top MICE (meetings, incentives, conventions, and exhibitions) tourism destination, affirming its international appeal and capabilities. This accolade not only signifies progress toward these goals but also reflects global confidence in the city’s tourism potential. The department is committed to enhancing the city's MICE infrastructure and services, thereby reinforcing its position on the regional and global tourism map, Hieu said. The World MICE Awards is an esteemed annual ceremony recognizing outstanding destinations, hotels, airlines, venues, and specialized MICE tourism service providers.
