Ho Chi Minh City promotes reading through opening of more book streets

The Ho Chi Minh City administration has announced good news for book enthusiasts as the city will set up more book streets and reading spaces between now and March 2025. As per this plan, the southern metropolis will open book streets and reading spaces in Binh Tan District, District 7, and the outlying district of Cu Chi. It is located in Thu Duc City, under the jurisdiction of Ho Chi Minh City. Apart from opening more book streets, the city will provide five million printed and electronic books for libraries citywide from February this year till March next year. The local education, information, and communications authorities in Ho Chi Minh City have been charged with hosting more events to promote the culture of reading among city schools.
