Ho Chi Minh City regrants business license to major transport firm Thanh Buoi

March 01, 2024

Thanh Buoi, a major transport firm in Ho Chi Minh City, has been regranted a business license more than three months after having the license revoked in the wake of a particularly fatal traffic accident. A representative of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport confirmed to Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper on Thursday that had it received and approved the company’s application for the license. It served a large number of passengers on routes between Ho Chi Minh City, the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho, and Da Lat City in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong. In November last year, Thanh Buoi had its business license revoked indefinitely for its violations during the license application. According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport, the company provided copies that were inconsistent with the original documents or false information in its application for the business license.
