HCMC – Hue City in central Vietnam has reinstated its public bike-sharing program to make the city bicycle-friendly. The program restarted on January 21 with 200 bicycles stationed at seven locations in the city. This revival of the bike-sharing program follows a successful pilot phase conducted from June to December 2022, during which about 12,000 bike rides were recorded. Vietsoftpro, the program’s partner, has upgraded Hue’s bike-sharing system by introducing new software and incorporating 4G locking technology to bolster security and enhance user experience.
