The Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV), the investor of the Long Thanh International Airport project in southern Dong Nai Province, has revealed reasons for the failure of two consortiums in a bid for a package to construct the airport’s passenger terminal. The ACV explained that Hoa Lu’s technical proposal failed to meet the requirements on materials, mechanical and electrical equipment, and terminal equipment. The consortium’s technical proposal and attached documents for terminal equipment did not reach the minimum score. Its technical proposal also did not hit the minimum scores for construction supplies, materials, mechanical and electrical equipment, terminal equipment, and construction solutions. Vietur won the passenger terminal package at a price of over VND27.8 trillion ($1.2 billion) and $338,800.
