February 17, 2024

Local authorities in Tien Giang Province, situated in Vietnam's Mekong Delta, honored a man this weekend for his courageous act of rescuing a three-year-old boy who had been callously thrown into a river by a drug abuser. This recognition serves as a high appreciation for Huy's courageous act, which occurred six days earlier, in rescuing the three-year-old boy. The person responsible for throwing the boy into the Ma Voi River is identified as Le Huynh Hai, a 25-year-old local man. Witnessing Hai's reprehensible act, Huy promptly rushed to the river, leaped in, and successfully rescued the boy, bringing him safely ashore. Hai has admitted guilt in committing the crime, and local authorities are currently proceeding with the necessary legal procedures to address his actions.
