New statue of Vietnam’s founder planned for Da Lat

The People’s Committee of Lam Dong Province in Vietnam’s Central Highlands region has planned to seek the approval from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to erect a new statue of one of Hung Kings, the legendary founders of the country, in Da Lat. It will be placed on Phuong Hoang Hill in the Prenn waterfall tourist area, about 13 kilometers from the heart of Da Lat, the capital city of the province. The People’s Committee of Lam Dong tasked the culture department with working with the provincial Department of Construction to complete the project.
