PM Chính meets HCM City leaders, stressing rapid, sustainable growth

HCM CITY — Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính on Sunday met with the Standing Committee of HCM City Party Committee to address the bottlenecks in the city’s socioeconomic development, stressing rapid and sustainable growth. However, HCM City’s development has encountered stagnant production and growth rate obstacles. HCM City also requested permission for a pilot programme issuing electronic work permits for foreign workers in line with the digital transformation strategy. Concluding the meeting, PM Chính said that HCM City has particular importance in the national socio-political and economic context, as well as national defence and security. He also attended the inauguration ceremony for the second HCM City Oncology Hospital facility.
