Police arrest man who entered kindergarten, holding 2 kids at knifepoint in southern Vietnam

Police in Tien Giang Province, southern Vietnam on Friday detained a man who broke into a local kindergarten and held two kids at knifepoint the same day. The man came to Tuoi Than Tien Kindergarten in My Tho City, Tien Giang Province at about 7:00 am. Within the kindergarten premises, he held one child in his arm while wielding a knife against another, steadfastly maintaining his position in a classroom. After being informed of the case, dozens of police officers rushed to the kindergarten to rescue the children. Colonel Nguyen Van Nhut, director of the Tien Giang police agency, and vice-chairman of the provincial administration Nguyen Thanh Dieu also reached the scene at over 8:00 am.
