Prime Minister of Luxembourg begins official visit to Vietnam

Prime Minister of Luxembourg Xavier Bettel arrived at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi on Wednesday morning to start his three-day Vietnam visit at the invitation of Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. This is his first visit outside Europe this year and the first visit to Vietnam by a Luxembourg prime minister in more than 20 years. In December last year, the two met during Prime Minister Chinh’s official visit to Luxembourg. During his visit, Prime Minister Bettel will lay wreaths and pay tribute to late President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum. This is his first visit outside Europe this year and the first visit to Vietnam by a Luxembourg prime minister in more than 20 years.
