The Russian president accepted the invitation, saying that the two sides would arrange a suitable time for the visit. During the phone talk, Party General Secretary Trong extended his deepest condolences to Putin, the Russian people, and the families of the victims of the terrorist attack near Moscow on March 22, according to a statement of the Party Central Committee's Commission for External Relations. President Putin conveyed his gratitude to Party General Secretary Trong for his congratulations, and he also thanked the Vietnamese Party, state, and people for their sympathy toward the losses suffered by the Russian people in the terrorist attack.
