Shares end week on negative note

On the Hồ Chí Minh Stock Exchange (HoSE), the market benchmark VN-Index lost 0.82 per cent, to 1,055.30 points. The market's breadth inclined to a negative zone with 306 stocks on the southern market going down while 79 stocks advanced. The trading value on HoSE reached nearly VNĐ8.2 trillion (US$347.9 million), equivalent to a trading volume of over 464 million shares. Securities stocks decreased towards the end of the session. During the session, more than 48.7 million shares were traded on HNX, worth nearly VN692 billion.
