Sharpening young voices

People tend to think the youth are not interested in traditional music but in Hà Nội, that’s not the case. For almost a decade, Chèo 48h project has attracted hundreds of young people to learn vocal art forms like xẩm (blind busker's singing), quan họ (love duet singing), chèo (traditional singing) and chầu văn (ceremonial singing). They are creating a new generation of traditional music lovers.
