Traffic accidents kill 62 in first five days of Vietnam’s Tet holiday

Traffic accidents killed 62 people and injured 77 others throughout Vietnam during the first five days of this year’s Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday, the Ministry of Public Security reported. Among the crashes, 102 were road accidents, killing 58 and injuring 75 others, four were railway accidents, killing four and injuring one, and one was a waterway accident, injuring one person. On Tuesday alone, the country recorded 25 traffic crashes along with 14 deaths and 16 injured victims.
