The engineering force of the Military Command in Quang Binh Province, north-central Vietnam swiftly removed a wartime bomb, weighing over 200 kilograms, found at the edge of a street in downtown Dong Hoi City on Friday. The military engineers identified it as an MK 82 bomb, which still has the detonator, dropped by the U.S. during the American war in Vietnam. “The bomb has been safely brought to the warehouse,” said a leader of the engineering team of the Quang Binh Military Command. It was buried several meters deep and only 10 meters from Truong Phap Street in downtown Dong Hoi City. Like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter to get the latest news about Vietnam!
