Unseasonal downpours to lash central Vietnam this week

Unseasonal rains of up to 400 millimeters are expected to lash central Vietnam later this week, according to the National Center for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting. Unseasonal downpours with an average volume of 100-300 millimeters will batter the localities between north-central Thua Thien-Hue and south-central Khanh Hoa Province from Thursday to Saturday. Rains of 50-150 millimeters are also forecast for north-central Quang Tri Province, south-central Ninh Thuan Province, and the southern part of the Central Highlands.
