Việt Nam's swimmers, lifters, athletes win gold at Para Games

HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam won six gold medals during the afternoon session of day two at the 12th ASEAN Para Games on June 4 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Đặng Thị Linh Phượng won two golds in the women's 50kg powerlifting event. After three attempts, she topped the podium with a total lift of 279kg to take the first gold. Công was Việt Nam's first Paralympic champion after his triumph in Rio Games in 2016. In athletics, Nguyễn Thị Hải won in women's shot put F57 category.
