Vietnam attends Asia’s biggest air show in Singapore

A delegation from the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense led by Lieutenant General Pham Truong Son, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, is attending Asia’s biggest air show, hosted by Singapore from Tuesday to Sunday this week. The biennial commercial and defense-focused Singapore Airshow gathers more than 900 companies from 45 countries and territories, according to the show organizer. The Vietnamese delegation has explored booths featuring products from global corporations, observed flight displays by air force teams from Singapore, India, the U.S., South Korea, Australia, and China, along with performances by international commercial aircraft corporations. During a meeting with Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Air Force Andrew Hunter, Son highlighted the continued success of Vietnam-U.S. bilateral relations.
