Vietnamese State President Vo Van Thuong on Thursday sent a letter of congratulations to his Indian counterpart Droupadi Murmu on the successful lunar landing of India's Chandrayaan-3, according to the Vietnamese foreign ministry. Vietnam’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son sent his congratulations to Indian Minister of External Affairs Subrahmanyam Jaishankar. The successful mission landed India amongst the four countries to have safely landed a spacecraft on the moon. The Ch-3 rover ramped down from the lander and India took a walk on the moon,” the Times of India cited ISRO as stating on X, formerly Twitter. This lunar landing is the most significant scientific milestone in Indian history, the newspaper commented in an editorial.
