Vietnam issues e-visa for visitors from all countries

HCMC – Visitors from all nations and territories can apply for e-visa as from August 15 this year. Previously, the National Assembly had passed an amendment extending the temporary residence duration for visa-free visitors to 45 days, surpassing the stipulated duration in the prevailing law. These revisions included an extension of e-visa validity from 30 to 90 days. The expanded and extended e-visa provisions are anticipated to provide a boost in attracting tourists, investments, business collaborations, and scientific research endeavors. Prior to the implementation of this resolution, Vietnam had granted one-month single-entry e-visas to visitors from 80 countries and territories.
