Vietnam offers condolences to Russia over concert hall attack that killed at least 133

Vietnam’s Acting State President Vo Thi Anh Xuan on Saturday extended a message of condolences to Russian President Vladimir Putin over a terrorist attack on a concert hall in the Crocus City Hall near Moscow on Friday evening (local time) that left at least 133 people dead and more than 100 injured. “We are deeply shocked by the brutal terrorist attack and would like to extend our deepest condolences and sympathies to the Russian government and people, as well as families of the victims,” she said. No Vietnamese citizens have been reported as victims in the attack so far, according to the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia. According to Russia’s Sputnik News Agency, at least five gunmen opened fire on people in the concert hall in Crocus City Hall near Moscow on Friday evening. To date, the terrorist attack has left at least 133 people dead and more than 140 injured, Euronews reported on Saturday, citing Russian authorities.
