Vietnam, Russia co-host 13th diplomacy-defense-security strategic dialogue

Vietnam’s Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Vu and Russia First Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Vladimir Titov co-chaired the 13th Vietnam-Russia strategic dialogue on diplomacy, defense, and security in Hanoi on Monday. The two nations are committed to sustaining and enhancing their bilateral cooperation substantially and effectively in the coming years. First Deputy Minister Titov said that Moscow attaches importance to, and wants to develop, its substantive relations with Vietnam, considering Hanoi a trustworthy partner. Given the rapidly evolving developments in the region and globally, the two senior diplomats agreed to conduct an annual strategic dialogue. This is meant to facilitate timely enhancement of bilateral cooperation, exchange of information, and strengthening collaboration at multilateral forums.
