Vietnamese doctors offer free medical check-ups, medicine to Cambodians

A delegation of doctors and nurses from the police department in An Giang Province, southern Vietnam took a trip to Kandal Province in Cambodia to provide its disadvantaged residents with medical examinations and drugs free of charge. The activity was co-organized by the An Giang Department of Public Security and Kandal authorities. Aside from medical check-ups, the Vietnamese doctors also provided treatment for many patients afflicted with conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, gastritis, heart diseases, respiratory illnesses, and skin disorders. A delegation of doctors and nurses from An Giang Province, southern Vietnam present gifts to Cambodian residents. Senior Colonel Hai said that the medical examination initiative was aimed at spreading kindness and improving the health of poor workers in the neighboring nation.
