Vietnamese firm fined $10,000 following discovery of 24 metric tons of rotten foods for sale

Seven metric tons of the decayed foods were found at a warehouse of Long Phat Co., Ltd in the city’s Tan Hiep Ward and the remaining amount was discovered at another venue in Phuoc Tan Ward. At the time of the detection, the foods were emitting a foul odor and were in a stage of decomposition. As a result, the People’s Committee of Dong Nai imposed a fine of VND240 million on Long Phat.
