Vietnam's first int’l trauma life support training center debuts in Ho Chi Minh City

An International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) Training Center was launched at Military Hospital 175 in Ho Chi Minh City on Monday, marking the first of its kind in Vietnam. Phung Si Tan, deputy chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, congratulated the Military Hospital 175, under the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense, on the establishment of the ITLS training center. U.S. partners had previously been operating ITLS training courses at the hospital since February last year. 5, 47 being healthcare workers of the Military Hospital 175, and 29 from military-run units. Official data showed that there are 124 ITLS training centers in the world, with four located in Southeast Asia.
