Vietnam’s Phu Quoc issues civilized behavior rules at tourist sites

The rules are aimed at directing the behavior and habits of those getting involved in tourism activities in Phu Quoc, including travelers, tourism service providers, and local residents. Tourists, tourism firms, and locals are required to adhere to the rules and guidelines at tourist sites, demonstrating respect for local culture and customs. The authorities in Phu Quoc promote the involvement of tourists in supporting underprivileged communities in tourism activities. Phu Quoc is currently an appealing destination for local and international visitors, according to Nguyen Vu Khac Huy, vice-chairman of the Kien Giang Tourism Association and director of Vina Phu Quoc Travel Co. Ltd.. Therefore, the issuance of the civilized behavior rules is necessary to gain tourists’ trust and satisfaction, Huy noted.
