Vietnam’s top legislator Vuong Dinh Hue departs for China for 6-day visit

Chairman of the Vietnamese National Assembly (NA) Vuong Dinh Hue and his entourage left Hanoi on Sunday morning for an official visit to China from April 7 to 14 at the invitation of Zhao Leji, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China. In an interview with Vietnamese press in Hanoi on Friday, Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Hung Ba shared that the country looked forward to and highly valued the first visit by Hue to China. Last year, China was Vietnam's largest trading partner while Vietnam was China's 5th biggest commercial partner. China steadfastly supports Vietnam in accelerating its industrialization and modernization process and is willing to actively participate in Vietnam’s economic transformation and upgrade, especially in energy transition.
