Weapons, marijuana found in K-12 students’ backpacks across north-central Vietnamese province

Police in Thanh Hoa Province, north-central Vietnam said that they confiscated numerous types of weapons and a small amount of marijuana, along with some other dangerous items from K-12 students’ backpacks across the province. Officers also inspected 773 beverage and food stores near schools and more than 4,000 vehicles used by K-12 students. In addition, 392 underage students were found riding motorbikes with a cylinder volume over 50 cc, which are only for people at least 18 years of age.
